Interest Inventory

 

            My high scores were Artistic-25, Enterprising -26 and Conventional -26.

The artistic interests were music, art, acting and design. The enterprising interests had to do with starting up and carrying out business projects. These people like taking action rather than thinking about things. The last one conventional, interests likes procedures that follow a set of procedures and routines.  My job zone is three, medium preparation needed.

            I agree with what the Interest Profiler came up with.  I do have artistic interest, I used to draw, I love decorating which is a part of design also music is something that I love.  I have had jobs where the enterprising skills were used, such as being a supervisor and an administrative assistant where I had to carry out business projects. The last one, conventional is a part of me too.  I do like order and routine in some jobs and situations.  Being a payroll and personnel data transcriber I had to follow a set of rules and follow procedure for the payroll to come out right.  If a rule was left out the payroll had errors in it. 

            The jobs that the profiler said were the best fit for me, I didn’t agree with some of them. The advertising sales agents is not for me.  I wouldn’t mind doing the other jobs that were listed.  First-line supervisors of personal service workers, travel agents and maybe a travel guide.  The great fit that I did was first-line supervisor of office and administrative support workers, and secretaries and administrative assistants.

            I felt that the O’Net Profiler was close to accurate for me.  I will use this when it comes to looking for my ideal job.
